HOW TO CORRECTLY PLAY BADMINTON

Badminton is a sport which needs both agility and intelligence in order to play it right. However, agility is the key for world class badminton players since it needs a fast movement to catch the shuttle. Therefore, if we find ourselves to keep losing whilst playing badminton. We probably have a problem with our agility hence that part should be trained intensively. In term of popularity, badminton is known only in some countries which makes it not as popular as soccer or tennis but it still appears to be competitive. Several countries which are known for its badminton specialties are Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Denmark, India, South Korea, and also Thailand. Hence, not all countries have been into this sport due to many barriers. Talking about famous athletes, names such as TaufikHidayat, Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, and Peter Gade are basically the greatest. If we are looking into a specific thing that makes badminton to be an adrenaline rush kind of sports then it is the fast pace of the match. Yes, since the agility is the key of everything in this game, the match is usually going pretty fast with many shoots delivered in a short period of time.   1. Knowing how to hit the shuttle right happens to be the first thing to learn. This is what most beginners find it hard to do which is to hit the shuttle right. So, how do we do it in a proper way? First we need to hit the shuttle right in the center of the shuttle itself. This is for re-delivering the shuttle without losing the power since hitting the shuttle’s center will let the power to be re-delivered on the equal amount.

Therefore, make sure that we get back to the middle of the court each time we hit the shuttle from outside the middle part.
  1. Footwork, footwork, and footwork. This part actually rhymes with the agility which acts as the key of success for badminton. Footwork is important since badminton is a sport with a very fast pace where a badminton player needs to run from side by side to get the shuttle. Less footwork will not be good whatsoever even though if we are the beginners in this sport since it may lead to injuries. Working on our feet is the best thing we could do to train our footwork.
